Parent/ Staff Communication

Each classroom at the Hurd Program uses either Class Dojo or SeeSaw as a way for teachers, students, staff and families to stay connected and build community. Both of these programs offer a secure way to share photos, events, news and updates to the whole classroom community as well as a way for parents and teachers to communicate privately about individual students. 

 

Daily communication sheets give a snapshot of your child's day (i.e, things that went well, things that were tricky, what strategies were used, time on learning, supports needed, etc.) These sheets also serve as one of the many ways staff collect data toward specific IEP goals and objectives.
